Clear Focus Book Cover

One of our favorite books for school leaders! Stephen Reel, now acting CEO of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) reminds us that Christ-centered ministry of ANY kind must focus not on the “What?” but on the “Who?” –

A few thought-provoking quotes:

Every academic subject . . . is important and becomes a natural opportunity for biblical integration. The study of science, history, language, or mathematics is an opportunity to understand more fully God’s creation and our place in it. In fact, the best way to understand God’s invisible qualities – His eternal power and divine nature – is to study what He has created (Rom. 1:20) (p.138)

Jesus always prioritized whats to meet the needs of whos. (p. 86)

We have an ongoing motivation to “not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up (Gal. 6:9) The harvest we want to reap is never going to be a what. It will always be a who. (p. 6)
