“Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness.” 2 Cor. 9:10 (ESV)
Redemptive Educators are daily “sowing seeds.” Whether at home or in the classroom, teachers and parents are constantly giving, giving, giving. There’s only one way to keep our “bag of seed” full, and that is to make sure we ourselves take time to be “fed”!
God is the Source: the Origin of anything, everything we have to offer others.
He is the Source of our own energy, ideas, skill, and effectiveness.
We have to take time to allow Him to “feed” us or our “sowing” will not bear fruit!
Think of it this way: God gives us “seed” and we sow it ——-> this goes outward, to others.
God give US bread for food and we “eat it” <——- goes inward to us.
God keeps supplying and multiplying our seed – we keep sowing – and HE
increases the harvest – and here, if I only knew how to create an arrow
pointing UPward, toward HIM, that’s what you would see! 🙂
“Lord of the Harvest, please keep supplying – and even multiplying – our seed for sowing! Please keep feeding us – we need our ‘daily bread’ from Your hand! Please increase the ‘harvest’ from our labors! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”
